Grapevine Toasts to 27 Years of GrapeFest

The 27th annual GrapeFest – A Wine Experience, will be held from September 12 through 15, along Main Street in historic downtown Grapevine.  Considered the largest wine festival in the Southwest, GrapeFest is four days of family-friendly fun and unique events.

Guests may sample more than 125 Texas wines from 35 Texas wineries,along with other top-rated wines from U.S. and international wineries. Events include a culinary pavilion with chefs from

across Texas, a GrapeStomp competition, champagne cork shootout, the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the nation, a champagne terrace, booths of arts and crafts and five stages of live entertainment.

Kid-friendly events include a carnival with rides and midway games, a free kids' activity area with interactive games, entertainment and a petting zoo. Take a ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad to experience travel as it was centuries ago.

Admission is free to everyone all day Thursday and Friday until 5 p.m. Daily admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and children age 6 to 12, and free for kids under 6. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday.
